Its creation is associated with the need to produce a simple and cheap car for the masses, in line with the slogan of the company director Pierre Boulanger, "quatre roues sous un parapluie" (four wheels under an umbrella). The car was simple, economical and allowed for the comfortable transport of 4 people with luggage.
